Today’s musical selection is more than a little political. Me Little Armalite is an Irish Rebel song. It was written some time in the early 1970s, with the earliest known recording, by the Rebel band Wolfhound, being released in 1975. The IRA smuggled in several thousand Armalite AR-18s and used them to great effect against the British. I chose it for today’s song because the Irish are rising up again. I told you a bit about it in yesterday’s RNN, and there will be an update later today.
