    McConnell Hires Sandmann

    Mitch McConnell’s re-election campaign has hired Nick Sandmann as grass-roots director.

    “We’re excited to have Nicholas on Team Mitch. Along with our already strong team, his efforts to bring people together all across Kentucky will be critical to Senator McConnell’s victory this November,” McConnell Campaign Manager Kevin Golden told the Louisville Courier-Journal.

    Sandmann broke onto the national scene after several major media outlets misrepresented an encounter between him and a Native American activist, Nathan Phillips. Nick has already settled lawsuits against the Washington Post and CNN for their coverage of his interaction with protesters in 2019, with the news outlets dolling out large payments.

    The Covington Catholic High School student’s life was nearly ruined because he smirked at serial liar, err, a Native American veteran protester, Nathan Phillips in front of the Lincoln Memorial two years ago, and it was caught on camera. 

    The jackals in the media set out to destroy this young man because he was a white, Catholic kid wearing a MAGA hat. However, this brave young man decided to fight back. In February of last year, he and his attorneys, Lin Wood and Todd McMurtry, filed suit against CNN, WaPo, NBC, ABC, CBS, Rolling Stone, Gannett, and the New York Times.
