We kick off the Thursday edition of RNN in Texas’ 23rd congressional district where President Trump endorsed Brandon Herrera in the House race. Herrera had been in a primary fight with scandal-ridden incumbent Tony Gonzales. Herrera, who led the GOP primary and now faces Democrat Katy Padilla Stout in November.

Gonzales dropped out amid a scandal involving an extramarital affair, a staffer that killed herself because of the affair and ethics probe.


Apparently the normal end-of-fiscal-year spending spree is now a bad thing to the Dems. They seem particularly upset at the DOD for spending some $22 million on steak and lobster. For some retarded reason, they seem to think SecWar spent that on steak and lobster for himself.

Now, those of you who have served know all about the steak and lobster that the military serves and why they serve it. I remember getting it exactly 3 times. And while it was a welcome treat, the quality was not . . . Well it was not good.
