Sam Whittemore came to mind

Sippin a coffee here, I cannot be sure, but the sayin

” Get off my grass”

I would attribute to ole Sam

He was once asked, where you get the sword from Sam”

“Umm ahh umm , I got it off a guy who died suddenly”.

No, Cadbury didn’t remove Easter from their eggs, what they did was tone it down.

Unlike cadbury who is clearly a QUITTER aka LOSER

a short summary of why you don’t quit ever

Down the road (everything is down the road)

When a hunting accident in 1895 caused Marquette resident Fred Donckers to lose his right arm, providing for his wife and two small children became a concern. No longer able to fulfill his duties as general assistant at Stafford’s Greenhouse on Third Street, Donckers began traveling the Upper Peninsula as a book salesman. When this failed to bring in enough money to support his young family, the native Belgian turned to confections.

I been in there 2 times I think, that town has a fish dock, in the fishing community on the lake, everyone knows everyone, not unlike say the trades, place was still lookin as this when I was a kid.

Went got some chocolate for ma, remember watching her nibbling it like damn squirrel

The business was passed from Fred, to son Frank, then the grandsons Frank, Jr., and Fred. And with each passing of the front-door key, also came the passing of the coveted recipe for Donckers famous fudge.

Donckers 100 year old fudge recipe combined with our decadent, signature chocolate makes the ultimate fudge egg for your Easter tradition.

Sipping coffee here, was tellin RatDog; dog, I have goatlovers across my lake, goatlovers below the hotgate,
